Before I get into it I wanted to let you know that I started an Instagram account dedicated to makeup tutorials and reviews and I will link it down below with the rest of our social media accounts.
And now for the eye look:
This is going to be a very simple, everyday, soft smokey eye using orangey-copper and brown shades.
For primer I used the bh cosmetics smooth canvas long-wear shadow primer in the shade Malt.
To make it less tacky I used a fluffy eye shadow brush to apply a neutral eye shadow over it.
The palette I used for this look is the bh cosmetics fifth edition 120 color eyeshadow palette
I applied this taupe shade into my crease using a fluffy tapered brush, and added this slightly darker shade of brown over it without taking it as high up in my crease.
For my lid I used this orangey-copper shade and I sprayed my flat eye shadow brush with fixing spray beforehand to make the color pop out more. I blended all the colors together using a blending brush
In my outer corner I placed a bit of this dark brown shade just to add a bit more definition.
For my inner corner and brow bone highlight I used the first highlight shade in the Carli Bybel Palette
The eyeliner I used is the bh cosmetics liquid eyeliner pen in black. The mascara I used is the Maybelline Volum' Express Mascara .
False lashes are the individual Flare Medium Black Kara Lashes
The concealer I used underneath my eyes is the Max Factor Mastertouch Under Eye Concealer in Ivory
I really hope you guys liked this kind of post. Please do keep in mind that I am not a professional and that this is the first time I am doing this kind of thing. Leave a comment down below telling me what you think and what you want to see next!
And now I want to tell you guys some news from both Sher and I. Since it is summer and we have more time available we want to make this blog more of a main focus and therefore we will be uploading twice a week instead of once. There will be a new blog post every Wednesday and Sunday. I will keep posting content on Sundays whilst Sher will be taking Wednesdays.
I'll talk to you next Sunday!
xoxo, Fran
