Granola recipe

Hello dolls I hope that you are all doing well :) In today’s blog post I will be sharing with you a recipe on how to make  homemade granola as promised last week. I was amazed on how easy and quick it is to make it and how good it turned out. It is also much healthier because there are no added preservatives or sweeteners just a bit of maple syrup if you’d like.

So for this recipe you will need :
1 and a half of uncooked rolled oats
½ cup chopped almonds or any other type of nuts
2 tbsp maple syrup or honey (optional)
2 tbsp almond butter or peanut butter
2tsp cinnamon
2 tsp vanilla
½ tsp salt ( optional )
½ cup pumpkin seeds ( optional )
½ cup shredded coconut ( optional )

Procedure
First start off by preheating the oven to 150C.
In a large mixing bowl , combine all the dry ingredients – oats, nuts, pumpkin seeds, shredded coconut, cinnamon and salt.
Add the wet ingredients now to the dry ingredients – coconut oil, maple syrup, almond butter and vanilla.  Mix everything really well until all the ingredients are combined together.
Spread the mixture onto a baking tray or a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes.
Remove from the oven and allow it to cool.  Place the granola in an airtight container at room temperature or in the fridge.
