My favourite pampering body products

Hello dolls I hope that you are all doing well. In today’s blog post I will be talking to you guys about my favourite pampering body products, three of which are hand creams and the other two are body moisturisers  You might have seen the body moisturisers in one of my monthly favourite posts because I love them so much. Everything about these body moisturisers is so perfect!

Marks and Spencer – Hand and Nail cream moisturiser

Firstly , this hand and nail cream moisturiser was part of the floral collection but it can be bought also separately only from Marks and Spencer outlets, which I think is a pity.  I agree with what the product claims as it states that the scent is of clean fresh linen which is true because it does smell like fresh clean pillow covers and regarding this you would feel your hands really clean and fresh. I like how the consistency of the cream is just right, not too thick but not runny in the middle how it should be. It is absorbed really quickly after massaging.

The body shop – British Rose – Hand cream

Very different scent from the one that I have mentioned above, as it literally smells of roses. The cream is also not runny yet not thick, it has a soft and silky texture which is a big thumbs up !! Due to this the cream is easily absorbed and leaves the hands fully moisturised. The packaging is also really cute and it is also part of a collection which goes by the name , british rose body care collection. However one can always buy the product separately for a very good price.

The body shop – Wild argan oil – hand cream

Another very different scent . This time this hand cream has more of an almond kind of scent which smells so good. Argan oil has a lot of benefits and it is included in many other beauty related products such as face products, hair products etc ..  This hand cream also sinks in well leaving the hands feeling very soft .

Pampered – Body Moisturisers

Both moisturisers have such  lovely scents <3 The first moisturiser which sadly ran out  a few days ago because I have constantly  been using morning and evening has a balance of coconut, almond and vanilla while the second moisturiser is a mixture of mango, passionfruit and orange . Both moisturisers leave your skin so smooth and soft as they are so nourishing <3

That’s its for today’s blog post ;) I hope that you liked my pampering products <3 I will talk to you guys next time!

August Favorites

Hey guys! Today I am finally back with a monthly favorites post. I can't believe how quickly the summer is passing by. I hope you guys are enjoying your holidays. And now let's get into this favorites post so I can share with you some of the things that I have been loving this past month.

Make Up

Urban Decay Vice Lipstick - Ravenswood
This lipstick is a dusty rose color with red undertones. It is perfect for everyday and it goes with so many make up looks. It is definitely my current favorite lipstick

Skincare

I love using face masks and lately I've been loving the lush face mask called 'Don't look at me'. It has such a fun color and it works so amazing.

Fashion

I've been wearing these shorts I got a while back from boohoo a ton recently. They're high waisted and super comfortable and the crochet detail adds a little something to it.

Haircare

I recently bought the milkshake smoothing cream and I love how soft my hair feels after using it. It also helps to eliminate frizziness and leaves your hair looking healthy and shiny.

TV Show

Guys this month I've been watching One Tree Hill and I'm so obsessed. It is such a good series and I definitely recommend you watch it. If you watch this show too let me know who your favorite characters are :)

Another favorite would definitely have to be Pretty Little Liars. Have you guys seen the summer finale? It blew my mind haha and I'm so happy by theory was correct - but I won't say anything don't worry - no spoilers.

Music Video
So Ariana Grande just slayed everyone with her new music video for Side to Side and it is definitely my favorite this month.

Food

I recently haven't  been the biggest fan of pesto pasta because I used to love it and then got fed up of it, but that was until we made homemade pesto from scratch at home. It tastes so so much better than the pesto that comes in a jar. It's amazing. So this month I've been having way too much spaghetti haha.
Favorite App

I don't usually include this section in my favorites but I've really been into using Pinterest recently so you guys should totally follow me - FranMariexo (Yes I changed my username, so the link in our previous posts will not work - this is the new link)

I hope you enjoyed this post dolls. I'll talk to you guys next time and I hope you have a great week.

Fran

How We Store Our Make Up (And Other Essentials)

Hey dolls, welcome back! Today we are super thrilled to be highlighting an idea from MakeSpace, a self-storage company that also offers a number ofhome-storage suggestions, and we are going to be showing you how we store our makeup and other essentials. We will be showing you how easy it is to stay organised by using things that you already have lying around the house (ex. containers, jars...) or that you can buy without spending a ton of money.

Make Up Brushes

To store our make up brushes we use jars that we already had at home. You can fill them with beads so that when you place the brushes inside they stand upright. If you like you can have fun with it and make your own DIY by decorating it by adding ribbon, glitters, tags... to make it your own customised jar.

Perfume Tray

Instead of having all of your perfumes scattered around you can easily collect them all together onto one perfume tray. This is super easy and affordable. You can add a piece of fabric and gems or other decor so it doesn't look as plain.

Acrylic Drawers

We bought these acrylic drawers off of eBay. They are super inexpensive and in this way you can have your favourite makeup on display without it looking disorganised or messy. At the same time your everyday essentials will be easy to reach in the mornings.

Jewellery

Once again you can buy a jewellery stand from eBay and hang your favourite necklaces and bracelets. Or else you can use items you already have such as envelopes, gift boxes, small fabric bags... You can see all of these in the pictures below.

Make Up Unit

This unit was very inexpensive (around 40euros) considering all of the makeup fits easily in the drawers. Like this there is more space in other drawers/cupboards in the room to store other items.

Containers/Boxes

You can use plastic containers or cardboard boxes to separate your make up products from each other and everything will be more organised and easy to find.

We hope that you guys liked this blog post and that it inspired you to organise your make up and beauty essentials in a more organised way using things from home or things which you can buy for a small amount of money :) Also don’t forget to check out MakeSpace by clicking on this link : https://makespace.com/ .

We will talk to you guys next time !

Fran and Sher

My top 5 pale pink/nude lipsticks

Hello dolls, in today’s blog post I will be sharing with you my 5 top favourite nude lipsticks.  I have become so fond of this lipstick colour,  i have probably been wearing this shade all year round except for fall time, because I do love to wear a dark purplish colour when fall comes around. I find that nude lipsticks are so easy to wear when applying a drastic eye shadow for example as it goes well with everything. The lipsticks which I will be showing you, as you will see all fall under the pinkish category rather than the brown colour. Why you might ask ? To be honest I don’t really know, I just always tend to stick to the pinkish side in fact I don’t even own any pure brown lipsticks. I also think that the pink nude lipstick shade goes better with my skin tone but i will give the brownish nude lipstick shade a try next time :)

Kate Moss lasting finish no.42

This would probably be my favourite lipstick of all time !! Its my go to lipstick for sure.  The colour is so sophisticated and classy and I love how long lasting it is.  It has also such a pleasing scent . For a lipstick its quite inexpensive in my opinion. Walmart is selling this lipstick  for only $4.72!

Rimmel long lasting Nude pink no.206

Love this pearly colour so much ! However its not very long lasting and I disapprove with what Rimmel has to say about this lipstick ! Rimmel states  that it is a ‘high colour impact for up to 8hours wear’, I don’t know about you guys who might own this lipstick but for me it does not last for 8 hours for sure does it for you ? Comment down below if you’d like to tell me ;)

Shiseido BE740

The colour is a soft natural pink shimmery colour and it is so beautiful. It has an amazing consistency as it is extremely moisturising and it is also so pigmented. This brand is certified to be gluten free and the products are not scented.

Revlon Apricot fancy no.120

I absolutely love this lipstick ! The colour is a pearly peach colour and it looks so flawless. It goes on really nicely and smoothly. Its definitely a very pretty every day colour for me !

Max factor X maroon dust 735

Such a pretty shade and the packaging is just so stunning ! It is beautifully pigmented and quite long lasting , I must say. The scent is quite sweet which I love and last and not least its affordable!

I hope that you guys liked this post ;) Will be doing another one similar to this blog post during fall season but instead with dark colours ;) Talk to you guys next week.

Love,

Sherxoxo

Girls Night In : 10 Fun Ideas

Welcome back beauties. Today I'm going to share some fun ideas for a girls night in with your girlfriends, for when you are feeling a little lazy or don't feel like going out. You can still have a load of fun even if you stay home.

1. Makeovers

Everyone can choose a new look they would like to try and you can give each other a makeover. Or you can give it a twist by doing a challenge, like the blindfolded makeup challenge. Sher and I actually did this a couple of summers ago and I definitely recommend you guys try it out because it is so funny.

2. DIY Spa Night

What better way to spend a night in, then relaxing. You can make your own hair masks and face masks, lip scrub, a foot soak, massages; and use all of your favorite skin care products.

3. Movie Night

Chick flicks, your girls, and a ton of ice cream are the only things you need for a fun night ;) This can also give you the chance to catch up on movies you have been wanting to watch but never seem to find time to actually see.

4. Make Dinner

Team up, find some new recipes and cook together. This is some food Sher and I made a couple of weeks ago.

5. Spend Time With Your Pets

If you have pets at home give them a lot of extra love and attention.

6. Dance Party

Blast your favorite music and dance your heart out

7. Catch Up

Update each other on what you have been up to and what has been going on. Sometimes days go by so quick, there's so much to do and everyone is going through something that we don't often get the chance to open up to someone else.

8. Game Night

Have everyone bring their favorite board games for a good old fashioned girls night in. Monopoly, card games, and snakes and ladders have always been a few of my favorites.

9. Make DIYs

There's always so many DIY ideas on pinterest, so why not gather some supplies and create something?

10. Try A Challenge
Like for example the whipped cream challenge, or going out in pyjamas at night - both of which are super funny, let me tell you that. And for the first one I suggest you prepare a specific area because things get really messy ( and don't blow dry your hair beforehand - it is so not worth it haha). And there are a ton of other things that you can try.

I hope you enjoyed this post guys, and that now you go ahead and text your girls because a girls night in is in order.

xoxo,

Fran

Granola recipe

Hello dolls I hope that you are all doing well :) In today’s blog post I will be sharing with you a recipe on how to make  homemade granola as promised last week. I was amazed on how easy and quick it is to make it and how good it turned out. It is also much healthier because there are no added preservatives or sweeteners just a bit of maple syrup if you’d like.

So for this recipe you will need :
1 and a half of uncooked rolled oats
½ cup chopped almonds or any other type of nuts
2 tbsp maple syrup or honey (optional)
2 tbsp almond butter or peanut butter
2tsp cinnamon
2 tsp vanilla
½ tsp salt ( optional )
½ cup pumpkin seeds ( optional )
½ cup shredded coconut ( optional )

Procedure
First start off by preheating the oven to 150C.
In a large mixing bowl , combine all the dry ingredients – oats, nuts, pumpkin seeds, shredded coconut, cinnamon and salt.
Add the wet ingredients now to the dry ingredients – coconut oil, maple syrup, almond butter and vanilla.  Mix everything really well until all the ingredients are combined together.
Spread the mixture onto a baking tray or a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes.
Remove from the oven and allow it to cool.  Place the granola in an airtight container at room temperature or in the fridge.

Uncooked granola
Cooked granola

Granola, almond milk and banana slices

I hope that you liked this recipe! Had to share it with you guys after I found out how to actually make it at home.

That's it for today's post I will talk to you guys next week
