Chanel SkinCare Products Review - Mousse Douceur, Lotion Douceur,HydraBeauty Gel Creme

Hey dolls, welcome back to our blog. Today I have a bit of a different post for you all. I'm going to be doing a review on 3 Chanel Skincare products- a cleanser, a toner and a moisturizer.
I am going to be talking to you about the price, packaging, effectiveness and my overall opinion on each product.
If you want to see my everyday skincare routine I posted one a while back, as did Sheryl.
Just to be clear, I do not use these products daily so they have not by any means replaced my previous daily skincare routine. I usually use these products once or twice a week.
This is going to be a long post, so let's get right into it!

Mousse Douceur

This product retails for $45.00, which I think considering the brand and the fact that a little goes a long way, isn't too much, so 150ml of product will last a while.
The formula of the cleanser is very silky looking and it is very creamy. I only use about a pea sized amount and find that it is enough to cleanse my skin thoroughly without drying it out. It is gentle on the skin as it foams nicely when you apply it.It has a floral scent which I am obsessed with, although it might be too strong for people with very sensitive skin.
The packaging is plastic, not glass. I suppose that perhaps for the price that you are spending on these products some might expect it to be glass. In my opinion, I have to say that I do prefer plastic as I feel like you can be 'less careful' when handling the product. I certainly wouldn't want $45 of product to drop on the floor if the bottle slips whilst I'm washing my face. I really do like the packaging, as it is simple and sleek.

After I use this product I definitely feel like my skin is more refreshed and hydrated. As for the anti-pollution properties it states to have, I cannot say that I have seen some sort of difference or change, but one of the key ingredients is tulip tree extract which is a natural anti pollutant.

Lotion Douceur

This toner is in the same range as the cleanser I mentioned. It retails for $45, same as the cleanser, with a difference that there is 200ml of product. Once again, the packaging is plastic but I really love it and it has a slightly floral scent, although it is not as strong as the scent of the cleanser. I apply this to my skin using a cotton pad and once again a little goes a long way. The first time I used it I used too much and realized that using only few drops is enough. This toner leaves my skin feeling very hydrated and it does not feel sticky. On the contrary, I have noticed that it gives my skin a bit of a natural glow.

Please note that this toner and even the cleanser are ideal for normal-combination skin, so if you have dry or oily skin they will probably not be as effective.Instead you might consider trying Lotion Confort or Lotion Purete' respectively, and the corresponding cleanser as they are adapted for those skin types.

Hydra Beauty Gel Creme

I have to say that this is probably the most hydrating moisturizer that I have used. This product retails for $87, which I think is way too pricey for a moisturizer.
It smells amazing and it is very light and is easily absorbed by the skin. It leaves my skin looking glowy and feeling hydrated. I really like the fact that it does not feel sticky and thick like certain moisturizers that I have used before.
I really love the packaging and the fact that it comes in a jar and with a small spatula. Once again, a little goes a long way.

Overall:

I love the fact that in the case of all of the 3 products a little goes a long way and they leave my skin feeling amazing. My makeup went on so smoothly after using these products. I think that the price for the cleanser and toner is quite reasonable but that of the moisturizer is a little over the top. If you are on a budget and would like to try these products I suggest you don't use them daily as it can be quite costly in the long run.
On the whole, I think that I will be repurchasing these products once they run out.

Thank you for checking out my review. I hope that you guys liked it. This is my first time doing a review so I really hope that you found this interesting and that it gave you some sort of guideline.
