Hello dolls
I hope that you are all well . Sorry for skipping last week’s post, I was on a short holiday with friends and
when I came back my results arrived so yes it has been quite a busy week. In
today’s blog post I will be sharing with you guys five great hair tips .
You might
have heard this many times by your
hairdresser or a family member to not over wash your hair but why is that? The
reason behind this is that any regular shampoo contains these cleaning
properties which if used too much can strip off your hair’s natural oils which
will result to greasy hair due to the extra release of sebum. Hence to
conclude, washing your hair twice or three times in a week is more than enough
( maximum to be precise ) ;)
Try as much
as possible to avoid using excessive heat from hairdryers to dry your hair but
allow it to dry naturally. If you do not have enough time to let it dry, at
least use a warm setting instead of the hot setting. Immoderate amounts of heat from hair
appliances can damage the hair cuticles, making your hair very unhealthy as it
becomes very dry and brittle.
If you do
frequently blow-dry your hair or if you do use any chemical treatments it would
be ideal if you do apply a hair treatment at least once a week. One can either
buy a specific hair product or else you can use such ingredients like : coconut
oil, shea butter, aloe vera and other oils recommended by your hairdresser. I personally
do not blow-dry my hair that much , very rarely
to say the truth and I avoid extra chemical treatments but I still
pamper my hair with coconut oil, mostly in the summer time and it truly does
work wonders.
When applying shampoo to your scalp, do not be rough but massage very
gently . Massaging your scalp very gently will 1) stimulate circulation and 2)
will remove dead skin cells which will prevent your hair from getting any
dandruff leading to dry and dull hair.
Last and not least the best way to brush your hair is by first brushing the
ends to remove any tangles and then start from the roots of your hair downwards
to the ends. This will help your natural oil to spread throughout your hair and
will thus prevent breakage.
Love,
Sherxoxo
