I apologize for that long rant but I just wanted to let you know; and now let's get to the fun part! I've already tried most of the products as I've had them for a while, whilst others I have yet to try.
The first things that I am going to mention are skin care products.
I recently bought these Chanel products and if you want more detail I did a full review on each product a few weeks back.
A couple of days ago I also bought another Chanel skin care product to add to my regimen and it is the Hydra Beauty Micro Serum. I've only tried it once honestly but I did really like how ot made my skin feel.
Next I got this micellar water from Good Things, because there has been so much hype lately on micellar water and how effective it is. I have been using this product and can definitely see why! And let me tell you, this smells SO amazing!
And now let's get into a couple of Make Up Products
Max Factor
This is the Max Factor Face Finity All Day Flawless 3 in 1 Foundation. This states to be a primer, foundation and concealer all in one. I have actually used this foundation and it has pretty good coverage; I would say about medium-high coverage. It is not drying, it glides on smoothly and I have been reaching out for it alot.
I got this in a very light shade so that it could also act as a brightener/highlight and have been loving the coverage and also how creamy but blendable it is. This is the Max Factor Mastertouch Undereye Concealer.
Essence and Catrice Cosmetics
From Essence I got this long lasting lip liner in the shade 07 plum cake. It is quite dark, so it is probably not the best shade for spring, but it really is such a pretty colour nonetheless.
As for Catrice, I actually bought the highlighting pen without even testing it as there was no tester available, and let me tell you that it is one of the best things that I've purchased. This is the Illuminating Highlighter Pen. It is basically a silver-pink liquid highlight and it is honestly so, so beautiful. I'm so happy that i got it and it is so worth it guys! A definite must have.
Chanel
I will be getting into more drugstore products later in this haul as well as in the next part of the haul, but I also wanted to share some new Chanel makeup products that I got for any of you that are interested.
This primer is Le Blanc De Chanel Base Lumiere Universelle. I've used this base a couple of times and I must say that it makes my foundation go on smoother and it evens out my skin so I'm really happy with it.
I decided to get the Poudre Universelle Compacte, which is basically a pressed powder.I absolutely love the packaging but have yet to try the product.
I also got these two lipsticks. The first is the shade 430 Marie - an intense red/pink shade
The second one is 402 Adrienne - an apricot nude
Lastly I got these 2 cream eyeshadows in the shades Moonlight Pink (rosy pink shade; pearly sheen) and Illusoire (smokey purple/gray/brown shade; frosted finish) . They are pigmented, buildable and very long lasting.
Revlon
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick
Shade - 460 Blushing Mauve
It has a Pearl Finish
This is actually the first revlon lipstick that I've ever purchased and I really love this colour. I think it would suit every skin tone.
L'oreal
This is the Infallible Sculpt Contouring Palette. I've actually tried the dark contour shade on this one and absolutely love it. The colour is amazing and it blends so easily. I haven't yet tried the highlight shade as I have been pairing the dark one with a different highlight up to now.
Rimmel
I've heard so many good things about this foundation, so when I saw it I was like, you know what let's just give it a go. This is the Wake Me Up Anti-Fatigue Foundation. This is such a great drugstore foundation and I am actually reallt glad I got it. I only tried it a couple of times but I like the coverage and it also blends in nicely.
Next up we have the Match Perfection Concealer. I used to love this concealer like two years ago and for some reason I didn't repurchase it, not because I found anything wrong with,I guess I just found other concealers on the way. But it is finally back in my collection now.
I've been looking for a drugstore pressed powder and I came across the Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder and I picked it up too.
Lastly from Rimmel, I got this Kate Moss lipstick in the shade 103. It is a medium pink shade with a creamy pearly finish.
I am going to end this part of the haul here. If you want to see the rest of the makeup just stay tuned for more. I didn't want this post to be too long, plus I'm still waiting to get more products in the mail. I hope that you guys enjoy this type of post. Have you tried any of the products I mentioned? Let me know in the comments below if you have. If you think I should try a particular makeup product which you love, comment below also. Until then, I'll talk to you guys later!
Xoxo,
Fran
