May favourites

Hello dolls :) it's time for another favourites post , still can’t believe how the time has passed. Fran and I are finally ready from our exams and are currently enjoying our summer hols :) For those of you who are doing their exams at the moment or are just about to start them hang in there, they will pass really quickly ! So in this post I will be sharing with you guys my May favourites :)

Beauty products
Bronzer rimmel

I have been looking in shops and searching online for quite sometime for a good bronzer and I think that I have found the  right one. There are 3 different available shades of this bronzer which I think is amazing . It glides so well on the skin leaving such a natural looking sun glow due to its velvet soft texture.

Food
Baked  polenta

I was always a huge fan of polenta but yesterday I decided to mix it up a little bit and change some things. I usually just put it in the microwave but instead I also put it in the cooker and it turned out to be so delicious  <3

What you will need :
2 garlic cloves and chopped
1 cup of cherry tomatoes and chopped
1 cup of fresh spinach
500g ready made polenta
1tbsp olive oil
5 tbsp of goat cheese
Herbs ( optional )

Method :
Heat oven to 220C fan and boil a kettle . In a bowl, mix the garlic cloves and tomatoes with some seasoning, then pour into a baking dish. Place the spinach in a colander and pour the boiling water . Rinse with cold water and remove excess water by squeezing the spinach with a spoon . Chop the spinach and scatter it on top of the tomatoes.
Overlap the polenta on top of the spinach and pour some oil. Bake in the over for 10-15 minutes and afterwards cover the polenta with the goat cheese and return to the overn for another good 5 minutes or until the cheese is golden and bubbling . Enjoy!!

Fashion
High waisted skirt

As some of you might have seen , in my last favourites I wrote about wanting a high waisted denim jeans skirt as they would look good with my nudish pumps which I finally did buy from Miss Selfridge. I was quite lucky because it was the last one standing on the rack .  I fell in love with it whilst watching Freddy My Love’s youtube video . The video is a Try on Spring haul , if any of you guys would like to check it out. It is more on the pricey side however the quality is really good and I don’t regret buying it one bit . One can for sure find a cheaper skirt just like this one from another shop if you'd like :)

Sandals

I got these sandals from a local shop at a very good price . I love how well they go with every clothing that I own .  I’m super picky about sandals but I really loved these ones and I had to buy them.

Music video
Ariana Grande

My favourite music video for this month would definitely be ‘Into you’ by Ariana Grande. I literally love everything about the video – her make up and outfits are on point <3 The album is also amazing !! comment down below your favourite song for this month !

I hope that you guys liked my may favourites. Will definitely start adding more clothing favs from now on and more skin products for summer time.  Until next time!

Love,
Sherxoxo

Hi guys, welcome back to our blog. I hope that you are all doing really well. For Sher and I freedom is almost upon us because the exams are over soon, and if any of you have any exams that are upcoming or going on I wish you luck!
Today I am doing another get healthy with me post, and I think this will be the last one for a while as I have so many other ideas for upcoming content, but I feel like I will definitely be adding more posts onto this series throughout the summer.
I'm going to be giving you a few ideas for meals which you can have for both lunch and dinner, all healthy and actually most are vegan!

Easy Coconut Curry

  • 1 can coconut milk

  • tomatoes
  • olives
  • cucumber
  • red + yellow pepper
  • feta cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • red cabbage
  • balsamic vinegar

This is a salad so it is quite self explanatory - just chop up the main ingredients and add flavor with the salt, pepper and vinegar.

This is going to be it for this post. I hope that you liked these recipe ideas and that you try them out. Let me know in the comments which one is your favorite. Recently I've been loving trying out new recipes and I enjoyed making this post for you guys. They are all quick and easy to make. Have a great week and I will talk to you very soon!

Cupcake recipe for your dog

Hey guys, I hope that you are having a lovely day ! Today’s blog post is going to be quite different from other blog posts . I hope that you do not mind ! In today’s post I will be sharing with you guys a very simple recipe to make PUPCAKES hence they are suitable for dogs .  I decided to make this recipe for my dog last year and she loved it so I tried it again this year for her birthday

So for this recipe you will need :

8 cupcake tins
1 egg
4 carrots cut into slices
2 tablespoons of peanut butter
1 teaspoon of baking soda
2 tablespoons of honey
1 cup of flour
¼ of a cup of coconut oil

For the icing/frosting
2 tablespoons of peanut butter
1 banana

Method :

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Sift the flour and the baking soda and combine all the ingredients together in a large bowl and mix thoroughly with a spoon or a whisker. Scoop the batter into 8 cupcake tins until each is about ¾ full.

Frosting :

3)Mash the banana with a fork into a small bowl and  add 2 tablespoons of peanut butter. Mix them together with a spoon.

Bake in preheated oven for 16 minutes. Let the Pupcakes cool  for 10 minutes and gently spread the frosting evenly on the pupcakes .

My dog simply loved them :) I had so much making them and being creative . I hope that you liked this post for your furry friends ! Below are some pictures of my dog Thea celebrating her birthday !

HUGE MakeUp and Beauty Products HAUL | Part 1

Hey dolls, welcome back! These last couple of months I have been buying some new make up products, as well as hair care and skin care products, so I decided to do a haul. I will be dividing this haul into a couple of parts, so this is only Part 1 as otherwise this post will be too lengthy. Before we start I just have a bit of a disclaimer - Please note that this is a collective haul, so I did not just go out and buy everything at once, but I have literally been collecting this stuff for months. I've been saving up, although to be fair some of the items where actually gifts :) I also wanted to let you know that I am in no way bragging. I just personally like hauls to see what is out there and see what is worth buying.
I apologize for that long rant but I just wanted to let you know; and now let's get to the fun part! I've already tried most of the products as I've had them for a while, whilst others I have yet to try.

The first things that I am going to mention are skin care products.

I recently bought these Chanel products and if you want more detail I did a full review on each product a few weeks back.

A couple of days ago I also bought another Chanel skin care product to add to my regimen and it is the Hydra Beauty Micro Serum. I've only tried it once honestly but I did really like how ot made my skin feel.

Next I got this micellar water from Good Things, because there has been so much hype lately on micellar water and how effective it is. I have been using this product and can definitely see why! And let me tell you, this smells SO amazing!

And now let's get into a couple of Make Up Products

Max Factor

This is the Max Factor Face Finity All Day Flawless 3 in 1 Foundation. This states to be a primer, foundation and concealer all in one. I have actually used this foundation and it has pretty good coverage; I would say about medium-high coverage. It is not drying, it glides on smoothly and I have been reaching out for it alot.

I got this in a very light shade so that it could also act as a brightener/highlight and have been loving the coverage and also how creamy but blendable it is. This is the Max Factor Mastertouch Undereye Concealer.

Essence and Catrice Cosmetics

From Essence I got this long lasting lip liner in the shade 07 plum cake. It is quite dark, so it is probably not the best shade for spring, but it really is such a pretty colour nonetheless.

As for Catrice, I actually bought the highlighting pen without even testing it as there was no tester available, and let me tell you that it is one of the best things that I've purchased. This is the Illuminating Highlighter Pen. It is basically a silver-pink liquid highlight and it is honestly so, so beautiful. I'm so happy that i got it and it is so worth it guys!  A definite must have.

Chanel

I will be getting into more drugstore products later in this haul as well as in the next part of the haul, but I also wanted to share some new Chanel makeup products that I got for any of you that are interested.

This primer is Le Blanc De Chanel Base Lumiere Universelle. I've used this base a couple of times and I must say that it makes my foundation go on smoother and it evens out my skin so I'm really happy with it.

I decided to get the Poudre Universelle Compacte, which is basically a pressed powder.I absolutely love the packaging but have yet to try the product.

I also got these two lipsticks. The first is the shade 430 Marie - an intense red/pink shade
The second one is 402 Adrienne - an apricot nude

Lastly I got these 2 cream eyeshadows in the shades Moonlight Pink (rosy pink shade; pearly sheen) and Illusoire (smokey purple/gray/brown shade; frosted finish) . They are pigmented, buildable and very long lasting.

Revlon

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick
Shade - 460 Blushing Mauve
It has a Pearl Finish
This is actually the first revlon lipstick that I've ever purchased and I really love this colour. I think it would suit every skin tone.

L'oreal

This is the Infallible Sculpt Contouring Palette. I've actually tried the dark contour shade on this one and absolutely love it. The colour is amazing and it blends so easily. I haven't yet tried the highlight shade as I have been pairing the dark one with a different highlight up to now.
Rimmel

I've heard so many good things about this foundation, so when I saw it I was like, you know what let's just give it a go. This is the Wake Me Up Anti-Fatigue Foundation. This is such a great drugstore foundation and I am actually reallt glad I got it. I only tried it a couple of times but I like the coverage and it also blends in nicely.

Next up we have the Match Perfection Concealer. I used to love this concealer like two years ago and for some reason I didn't repurchase it, not because I found anything wrong with,I guess I just found other concealers on the way. But it is finally back in my collection now.

I've been looking for a drugstore pressed powder and I came across the Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder and I picked it up too.

Lastly from Rimmel, I got this Kate Moss lipstick in the shade 103. It is a medium pink shade with a creamy pearly finish.

I am going to end this part of the haul here. If you want to see the rest of the makeup just stay tuned for more. I didn't want this post to be too long, plus I'm still waiting to get more products in the mail. I hope that you guys enjoy this type of post. Have you tried any of the products I mentioned? Let me know in the comments below if you have. If you think I should try a particular makeup product which you love, comment below also. Until then, I'll talk to you guys later!

Xoxo,
         Fran

April Favourites

Hello dolls I hope that you are all doing fine :) I still cannot believe how the month of April flew by. Fran and I are currently sitting for the exams but we are getting very excited now because summer is just 3 weeks away . In this post just like the other post, I will be sharing with you guys my favourites for the month of April.

Beauty products

I have rediscovered this palette once more and I am so glad that I did. This palette consists of 22 pearly super shimmery shades and 10 matte shades. All 33 shades are much pigmented and so soft. The shimmery shades are my favourites for sure mostly the pink shades.  Make up Revolution never sets to disappoint me I have always found their makeup quality to be amazing yet at a very good price.

Hair Products

As you may have seen in my March favourites (If you haven’t seen the post yet check it out please) I had mentioned John frieda Frizz Ease shampoo and Conditioner which I am still loving and using till this day. However a few weeks ago whilst looking for the John Frieda products I came across this hair serum which is a must have for eliminating frizz and flyaways. It also leaves the hair looking smoother and shinier. I use it every time I wash my hair buy just applying some drops and slowly smoothing it through the ends of my hair.

Another hair product which I have been loving is the 'Helichrysum Wakening Hydration Cream' by the brand Angel. This product is quite pricey therefore I only use it once a week or for special occasions. It consists of Organic natural ingredients and no animal testing. It has a unique leave-in formula to protect the hair against UV-light, dryness, frizz and split ends.

Healthy Breakfast

A very time saving breakfast to make since it is very simple and also so good.
To make this you will need:
2 or more rhyme crackers
 2 cherry Tomatoes
Oregano
1 egg

Boil the egg and voila enjoy your quick breakfast!

Fashion

Sadly enough, I haven’t had the time to buy any fashion items. However, now that the weather is quite stable and is looking more like Spring I have decided to take out my favourite nudish pumps out. I have probably had these pumps for over a year now but I do remember clearly that I had bought them from new look. I love wearing them with a pair of high waisted jeans or with a cute high waisted skirt or even a dress. I really do imagine myself wearing these pumps with a high waisted denim jeans, after purchasing one of course ;)

Music video

Lastly my favourite song and music video is definitely kicks by Lauren Aquilina. I am such a huge fan of her music so if you have never heard any of her songs you should give them a listen she is so talented and it is such a shame that her music is so underrated but I do believe that she will soon kick of just like other singers.

I hope that you guys liked my april favourites :)Get excited for more different blog posts soon . Have a great week !!

Love,
Sherxoxo
