Welcome back to our blog dolls! I can't believe it's time for a favorites post again. Time is flying by, which also means exams are so close and that is kind of terrifying. But, on a more cheerful note, today I am going to be sharing with you guys some of the things that I have been loving this month - some are new whilst others are things I had forgotten about and rediscovered. So, without further ado let's get started.
Starting with beauty, the first thing that I have been reaching for alot this month is the Chanel lipstick in the shade 434 Mademoiselle. It goes with everything and it is quite long lasting. If you want to see a swatch you can check out my previous post where I shared with you my everyday makeup routine products that I use. For my eyeshadow I have definitely been loving the 'I Heart Chocolate' palette by MakeUp Revolution. My favorite would have to be the last colour in the palette on the bottom right corner. It is so pigmented and it is basically the perfect inner corner and brow bone highlight shade.
My favorite perfume from this month is the Victoria's Secret Forever Sexy Perfume. I got this back in December but this month it has definitely been a go to for me.
Apart from that, for daily use I love using the Tease Body Mist, also from Victoria's Secret.
On to Fashion, this jacket that you can see in the photo below has definitely been one of my favorites and I have been wearing it a ton. I got this from boohoo.com. It is also pretty good for when it is a bit chillier outside.
I've decided to add a Jewellery category since these rings which you can see have been a staple for me recently. I got these for Christmas and they are from Stradivarius if you are wondering, but I doubt that they would still be in stock. You can still totally find something similar from there or other stores.
And now for the book category. I didn't actually have time to read a book this month, but I did download this app called 'Episode' and basically read two stories. Last year I was obsessed with this app and then for some reason I had deleted it and this month it kept popping up on social media so I gave it a go again.
This month I watched a couple of movies and most of them where actually recent ones, but my favorite is hands down a movie which came out a while ago - Bridesmaids. I could not stop laughing and I am still not over it. At certain points it does get kind of sad but it is such a sweet story and the comedy is so good. As for TV shows, my favorite is obviously Greys Anatomy, especially this month since I have had some new episodes to watch and I have also been loving the new episodes of The Vampire Diaries. I'm not going to say anything about them for those who haven't watched them yet so no worries, there will be no spoilers!
The very last favorite is going to be my favorite music video from this month. This is something I forgot to mention in last months' blog post so I thought it would be best to include it this time. It would definitely have to be Stone Cold by Demi Lovato. If you haven't watched it yet you should go watch it because it is one of the best songs on the album and the music video is everything.
That is all for my favorites. Thank you for staying till the end. Make sure to let me know what where your favorites this month and also let me know if you liked this kind of display for my favorites. I changed it from last month just for variety but I would love to know which way you prefer it.
I'll talk to you guys next time and I hope y'all have an amazing week!
Xoxo, Fran

Study tips

It is important to keep in mind that everyone is different and what works for one person can differentiate between another person. The following are just suggestions and tips which might help you guys during your current or future studies ;)
Firstly start by finding a quiet place to study with little distractions if possible . Try and keep any gadgets and things which distract you out of reach . What i usually do is that I place my phone and my laptop which are a huge distraction to me in a small box in another room while studying.

Make sure that you are understanding the material well and test yourself or ask someone to test you. Reading aloud helps me a lot in remembering what I have just studied and I like testing myself by asking questions about the topic which i would have studied.
Planning your work is key ! Studying a little everyday instead of studying a bunch of different topics a few days before the exam is a big NO no . Never cram your work in the last minute but instead plan wisely and you will manage to fit in everything. In fact by studying a bit everyday, the material will stay in your long term memory but if you try to memorize something in the last minute the material will be easily forgotten because it will residue to the short term memory instead.

I hope that you find some of these tips useful and for those who are currently doing or will be sitting for their exam soon good luck :) they will pass . Never give up on your dreams and accomplishments! work hard now and gain later on what you have always wanted ;) there is always a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
Have a good week <3
Love,
Sher xoxo

My Everyday MakeUp Routine - What Products Do I Use?
Hey dolls and welcome back to our blog! I hope that all of you are well.
Today I've decided to share with you the products that I use pretty much daily. I've also swatched some of the products so that you can see them better. As for eyeshadow I show you guys 3 options with 3 different palettes as I tend to change up my eyeshadow look quite frequently.
Let's get started:
Face Make Up :
For everyday I don't like to use a heavy foundation, especially for school because it would end up looking really cakey by the end of the day. I usually go for a CC Cream and sometimes I will also use a BB cream. The CC cream that I am showing you here is by essence. I also use a concealer under my eyes and this one is the focus and fix concealer which I got from the makeuprevolution website.
Lid Colour - Shell
Transition Shade - Warm
Crease - Rosewood
For mascara I use the Maybelline Volume Express Mascara on my top lashes, and the Essence All Eyes On Me WaterProof Mascara on my bottom lashes

Contour :
I contour to give my face a little bit more structure. This is the Ultra Contour Palette by MakeUp Revolution and you can probably guess which shade I use by looking at the photo (2nd colour at the bottom). I also use the yellow shade underneath my eyes to make sure that the concealer does not crease throughout the day.
Highlight:
If you saw my January Favorites post you probably know that this is my current favorite highlight to use. This is the MakeUp Revolution Blushing Hearts in the shade 'Iced Hearts'
Eyebrows:
I either use a powder or the tinted eyebrow wax to fill in my brows using the MakeUp Revolution Ultra Brow Palette in the shade Medium-Dark. To make sure they don't budge I use the Essence Clear Brow Gel. To define the shape of my brows I use the eyebrow arch enhancing cream from that same palette and add some of the highlight as well.
Eyes:
For eyeshadow primer I use one by MakeUp Revolution as well - I <3 MakeUp Eye Primer
The eyshadow palettes I use most frequently are the MakeUp Revolution I <3 Chocolate Palette, the Lorac Pro Mega Palette or the MakeUp Revolution Flawless Matte Palette

How I clean my make up brushes

All you need is to grab yourself a baby shampoo/antibacterial
soap or face wash and your makeup brushes and tools that are ready to be
bacteria free. I personally recommend you to to use
your face wash or cleanser as you want to make sure that it won't irritate your
skin once you use the brushes if you have sensitive skin. Shall we begin
the procedure?
P.S Eye brushes
don’t need regular cleaning but foundation brushes and contour brushes do need
more regular cleaning (1- 2 weeks)
• antibacterial shampoo or soap/baby shampoo or face wash
• your sink or a small bowl
• cloth
Instructions
1) Firstly, start by running your brushes under
lukewarm water. It is important for the bristles of the brush to be pointing
downwards when rinsed under water so as not to loosen the glue of the handle
which is attached to the bristles itself.
2) Next you could either fill a bowl with lukewarm water or put a few drops
of the product that you will be using or else you could place a small
amount onto the palm of your hand and gently swirl the brush.

3) Once again it is
important to rinse the brush under running
water and repeat
steps one and two
until the water in the sink or bowl is clear.
4) Use a cloth to wipe your brushes and tools clean and lay the brushes overnight for them to dry.
And there you have it!
It’s that simple and now your makeup brushes are looking brand new again. I
hope that you find this blog useful. Check out the
other blog posts if you haven’t done already until next time
Love,
Sher xoxo
